http://www.english.hadhramaut.info VP receives letter from Ashton [The Source: hadhramaut.info/.26sep.net. - 11/06/2011] Vice President Abdu Rabu Mansour Hadi on Saturday received a letter from the European Union foreign policy chief, Catherine Ashton, in which Ashton condemned the terrorist incident that targeted President Ali Abdullah Saleh and senior state leaders in al-Nahdain mosque at the presidential palace. This came during a meeting with ambassador of European Union mission to Yemen Mikelih Servouna Dorjsu, British Ambassador John Wilkes and French Ambassador Joseph Silva. In the letter, Ashton expressed her sympathy after the attack at the presidential palace, wishing a speedy recovery for all injured, especially President Ali Abdullah Saleh. Ambassador of European Union pointed out to the importance of sitting all political parties in Yemen around dialogue table to contribute to the orderly and constitutional transition of power. For their parts, the ambassadors of the European Union, Britain and France expressed their satisfaction with the procedures for abiding by cease-fire and drive armed men out of the capital Sana'a.
