The statement was made by Spanish ambassador to Yemen Francisco Javier Hergueta Garnica, Italian ambassador to Yemen Alessandro Fallavollita, Britain's deputy ambassador to Yemen Fionna Gibb and German Charge d'Affaires Kerwasb during separate meetings with Chairman of Shura council Abdul-Aziz Abdul-Ghani.The diplomats also confirmed their respect of the Yemeni will to address the crisis peacefully and democratically in accordance with the constitution and views of the majority of the Yemeni people.They expressed their interests on what is happening in the Yemeni arena, and their support for effort to achieve an appropriate solution satisfying all parties.During the meetings, Abdul-Ghani briefed the ambassadors on the latest developments in the country and the exerted efforts to tackle the ongoing crisis based on the Gulf's initiative, which has been approved by President Ali Abdullah Saleh.He stressed keenness of President Saleh to handle the crisis based on the constitution and by peaceful and democratic means.
