http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Sabotage to the Wire cable was the cause of power blackout In Hai Al-ssalaam [The Source: Mukalla/hadhramaut.info - 06/05/2011] The power black out that hit  Hai Al-ssalaam and its neighborhood on Wednesday evening was caused by an act of sabotage  by an unknown person to the cable feeders.

This was reported by An official from power Electricity - Hadhramout coast  The cable feeder was connected to a transformer switch located in the in Yaqoub CemeteryThe official added that the power institution  leadership had to inform Hadhramout  Governor   Khaled religious, Mukalla  District General Manager,Salim Saleh Bin Abdel-Haq as well as security agencies to carry out thier duties in tracking down, apprehend the perpetrators and bring them to justice.  Coast of Hadramout Power and Electricity Director, deputy,director of public  relation management  paid a visit  and  inspected the damaged site  and later directed the damaged cable  to be repaired . They assigned the work to  a number enginners  from the  institution to accelerate the repair  and put back power  electricity to the affected  citizens as soon as possible.  Work at the site started at seven thirty  in the evening and continued till  01:20  after Midnight, all this was done through the efforts of workers to restore power as quickly as possible.The source called upon all citizens and those supervising the  night security team in the city of Mukalla to report any acts of sabotage  to cables and  keep an eye on  power transformers and cables that may be subject to some vandalism or theft  by some weak people. Such vandalism activities leaves behind it  of lose of  material  and increase the suffering of the people especially as we are getting closer to summer season..The person in charge in his statement reassured the  citizens of Hadhramout coast  that leaders from the power and electricity institution working on to stabilize the voltage,and ready to face any bottlenecks  appears. He  stressed on the need for concerted efforts and unity against the possibilities of tampering with public interest..
