In an interview with the Jordanian Dastur Paper and the Arab Al-Ahram Magazine published today, Mujawar said that "the Yemeni unification was regained on May 22, 1990 with the will of the Yemeni people and it represents the most and greatest goal of the previous Yemeni revolutions."
He added that the unification came as a new case in Yemen which returned things to normal after the long term regional separation in the history of the country.
Mujawar noted that President Ali Abdullah Saleh's visit to each of Jordan and Egypt last week came within the established consultations with Arab leaders regarding Arab and international issues of common concern as well as pushing mutual cooperation relations forward.
As for talks of President Saleh with King of Jordan Abdullah II and Egyptian President Mohamed Husni Mubarak on the increasing piracy acts and the importance of securing international navigation on the south of the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, Mujawar said that "the two political leaderships in Egypt and Jordan share concerns with Yemen regarding what is happening in the Red Sea and have similar views on the importance of Arab coordination to face this phenomenon of piracy.
