http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Cabinet approves to finance 4th phase of pubic works project [The Source: SANA'A/hadhramaut.info/sabanews.net - 19/04/2011] The caretaker cabinet approved on Tuesday a grant agreement to finance the 4th public works project that signed with the International Development Association (IDA) on April 16, 2011. The cabinet directed Ministry of Legal Affairs to issue a legal certificate on grant agreement to affirm that the agreement has completed all procedures and came legally into effect for the government in accordance with its terms. Under the agreement, IDA will grant an amount equivalent to 39.1 million units of Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) to contribute to financing this 4th phase. The project aims to provide the required infrastructure to improve access to basic public services and create employment opportunities for short-term. The project came to support areas of public health, education, water supply, irrigation and water harvesting, in addition to paving roads and streets with stones and vocational training centers
