http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Hadhramout Local Authority reviews the activities of the Coordination Council of civil societis [The Source: MUKALLA/hadhramout.info - 12/04/2011] Hadhramaut local council governing body met  today in the city of Mukalla to review  Coordination Council for civil society organizations activities in the coastal areas of Hadhramaut. The meeting was chaired by   Provincial Governor/Board  Chairman  Khalid Saeed Al-deini and was attended by  about 66 organizations,  associations, civic institution. The meeting contributes in uniting the efforts of civil society organizations in the province and create more integrations among them so as to achieve its objectives in  serving  the issues of development and society. It will provide them opportunities to build the capacity of its members and open channels of communication with donors. It was attended also  by Managers from  water, sanitation and electricity  in  of Hadramout coastal areas. The meeting put  stresses for societies and  organizations that are within the framework of the Council and are licensed   officially to  operate from the Office of Social Affairs and Labour to get  on 50% reduction in electricity and water tariff, as it is  stipulated in the Law of Associations The provincial local council  governing body in this meeting also stood in front of a number of issues and topics on  its the agenda at hand and took a number of appropriate action. and ways to process them.
