Moscow- Federative Russia has on
Monday welcomed the decision of the authority and the opposition in Yemen the
addressing of the crisis witnessed in the national arena via the dialogue.
The Foreign Minister of Russia
Sergey Lavrov has said in a press conference he held in Moscow Wednesday , “ I
view this decision positively because we have continuously called dealing with
problems in Yemen and other countries by the way of dialogue.”Lavrov has expressed his hope that
the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) would continue its mediation efforts to
settle the situation in Yemen, expressing his confidence that those efforts
would inevitably lead to certain positive results.Lavrov added that the issue of
reforms in the Middle East and North Africa must be dealt with negotiations and
not by the use of force.He added that it is obvious that
reforms have become ripe and it is not permitted to delay about them because
the population wants taking effective steps for settling the economic and
social problems and guarantee of political pluralism. The Russian foreign Minister has
stressed the necessity of tackling those issues by negotiation and not to
impose reforms by the military force.
