Member of the Standing Committee, the Head of the Political office at the General People’s Congress (GPC) Abdullah Ahmed Ghanim has met in Sana’a on Wednesday the ambassador of Spain to Yemen.

The meeting has discussed the more important developments in the national arena and the crisis that Yemen is experiencing.The Head of the Political Office at the GPC explained the danger of reports by some media outlets through promoting lies and hiding facts and their lack of impartiality and credibility in reporting the facts. He has also emphasised that the Yemeni people support the constitutional legitimacy represented by the President of the Republic and refuse violence and sabotage.Mr Ghanim has also confirmed readiness of the GPC for the dialogue and acceptance of the initiatives in the framework of the constitution and the law. For his part the Spaniard ambassador affirmed his country’s standing by and supporting the unity, security and stability of Yemen and for the peaceful transfer of power.
