Also its efforts in developing of the ports, operation, upgrading of services, adopting methods of economic management and modern business. . Governor Al-deini was taken around by head of the port  Abdul-hafez Al-Qu'aiti and briefed on the efforts being made to advertising and reviewing the technical studies and  preparation for the establishment of Broom port.  It will be built on   an area of ​​11 million, 888 thousand and 236 square meters. The  construction of the first phase wil cost  about $ 100 million, including  the establishment of two berths, the the first along  400 meters and the other 300 meters and a depth of 12 meters both costing  about $ 100 million In addition   to the construction  Socotra commercial port which is being  funded by the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, costing 41 million.
