http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Blind Sports Personality (Eliwa) dies [The Source: SEIYOUN/hadhramaut.info - 03/04/2011] In majestic  mourning procession  this  afternoon Sunday, 3 April / 2011 a  funeral  ceremony was held for the blind Sports Personality late the Ali Abeid Eleiwa who passed away today  morning after an incurable and painful disease. The funeral procession was led by relatives, friends of the deceased and a large number of blid citizen who were friends  of the diseased  coming fro  the coast and the wadi . The  funeral prayer was performed in Al-jameeh ( Seiyoun Grand Mosque) and  body laid to rest  at  Jawhar Cemetery.  The  late /  Ali Obeid Eleiwa was born in  Seiyoun 1965, married and was working at the General Organization for Water and Sanitation in its  telephone exchange  Seiyoun Branch.  He was the founder of  rehabilitation and care Association  for  the blind in Wadi, its first president and  had a prominent role in the service of blind community in Wadi Hadhramaut To Allah  and to Him we shall return.
