Commander of the Southern Military Region and leaders and soldiers of military brigades and bases have confirmed their support for the constitutional legitimacy and initiatives of President Ali Abdullah Saleh for dialogue.

This came in their cable they have sent to President Saleh, in which they voiced their support to the President's call for all Yemeni political forces to partake in a serious and constructive dialogue to preserve all national gains and build the country.They stressed their constant readiness to safeguard the homeland and defend the constitutional legitimacy and protect gains of the revolution, republic and unity, and reiterated the constancy on their covenant and loyalty to the President and homeland.
