http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Yemen, US to improve energy cooperation [The Source: SANA'A/hadhramaut.info/sabanews.net - 21/02/2011]  Minister of Electricity and Energy Awadh al-Suqatri discussed on Monday with the US ambassador to Sana'a Gerald Feierstein aspects of joint cooperation and means of reinforcing and developing it, specially in the field of electricity and energy. During the meeting, they reviewed projects approved by the ministry to be implemented during the coming stage, out of which are projects to generate electricity through gas operating electricity plants.The minister valued support of the US for development in Yemen, specially electricity and energy.The ambassador, for his turn, affirmed concern of his country to support all efforts and necessary procedures to help such projects succeed to contribute to boosting cooperation between the two countries.
