It is a process of painting and coloring a white fabric of clothing with fine powder called Neel .This is done by  heating water in a special container and then putting the cloth inside and blending well until it turns black. Then the white cloth is put inside the black liquid, turning it over until turning black and then dried.
The person who does so is called Sabagh (Dyer) where he dyes Negab(head veil) which is a piece of clothing that women wrap aroung their heads. In addition to Albraca (face veil) and khimar ( a Loose dress that covers the whole body) .
Following the dyeing process, there comes the polishing one. After being black dyed, clothes are pounded by two rocks. One is large rectangular stone and the other is a small one.The large rock is put firmly on the ground and then the cloth is put on it.Then they scrub the clothing using the small rock until it becomes a shining stuff.
The men's clothing are dyed in the same way and called (Sabaiat).
It is worth mentioning that  dying of clothes are almost extinct and available only in some Bedouin areas .
