Interior Minister Mutahir al-Masri along with Chief of General Staff Ahmed al-Shwal held talks with the US ambassador to Yemen Gerald Feierstein on progressing mutual cooperation in the military and security training areas, particularly in upgrading the coastguard capacities and fighting terrorism and piracy.During the meeting, al-Masri affirmed the importance of strengthening the Yemeni-American partnership in the security fields.For his part, the US ambassador asserted his country's readiness to provide assistance and support for perking up the Yemeni-USA fruitful partnership.
