http://www.english.hadhramaut.info public works implements educational projects in Al-mahara and Hadhramout worth more than $ 3.9 million [The Source: MUKALLA/hadharamaut.info - 14/02/2011] Public works this year started  to implement a number of educational projects in Al-mahra and Hadhramout  areas. This is  the in the context supporting and   developing secondary education  and reducing the number of girls dropping from from education system. .  Projects Director General Engineer Abdul Rahim Omar Houry told (SABA) that these projects are costing  more than 3,000,902 thousand dollars thus  including construction of  service facilities, laboratories, halls for  activities, offices , additional classrooms and  different teaching aids. This is being implemented in various high schools schools including Ibn Sina (Fuwah) and Saba (  Rukub), Belgis  and Al-minaa for girls in Mukalla city and (Bour ), (Bakathir), (Al-ghurfah) in Seiyoun  District and Tarim school for girls. He also noted that the Fund will finance  project for training and rehabilitation for  the physically disabled in Mukalla costing 230 thousand dollars. Eng. Houry called on the citizens and the community to cooperate with the Fund and those  implementing agencies for these projects so that they can complete all their work on time agreed..
