The French official made her remarks during a meeting with Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi in the capital Paris.In the meeting, al-Qirbi and Marie discussed bilateral cooperation relations and ways of strengthening and developing them between the two countries as well as the latest developments in the Arab region.They also reviewed preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Friends of Yemen to be held in the Saudi capital Riyadh next March as well as the effects of maritime piracy in the Arabian Sea.Al-Qirbi praised the pivotal role of France in the Friends of Yemen and its support to the unity and stability of Yemen.The foreign minister also called on France to lift the ban on air flights coming from Yemen.For her part, the French official pointed out that her country's keenness to strengthen economic relations with Yemen through French investments in the sectors of Oil, gas and other promising sectors available in Yemen. In addition, Marie renewed France's support for the unity, security and stability of Yemen.
