http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Tarim victims of floods receives 37 new homes [The Source: hadhramaut.info/Almotamar.net,/ - 05/02/2011] Al-islaah  social walfare society in Wadi  Hadhramaut  today morning  organized a ceremony of  handing  over 37 houses for the victims of  2008 floods, that affected people in Tarim and Saah District. The Houses were funded  by  the Qatari Red Crescent Society and  each house  lies on an area of 90 square meters with two rooms each rooms  a kitchen, bathroom and lounge. .The handing over ceremony which was attended by provincial  Undersecretary for Wadi Hadhramaut and Sahraa  Affairs Omaeir Mubarak Omaeir. The Undersecretary expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Qatari Red Crescent for its contribution to mitigatie the effects of disaster in 2008 through the construction of those homes as well as as other  contributions  to various relief operations during and after a disaster . He praised the  strong brotherly relationship in  areas of cooperation between Yemen and Qatar  he pointed out at the work flow in Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed construction  project Where    housing units are being built in District of Tarim for the affected people and the completion of other related infrastructure  projects. Mr. Omaier Affirmed local authority   support for such projects .. Praising the charitable projects provided by the Al-islaah walfare Society in Wadi Hadhramaut .. The Undersecretary  pointed out to the directives of His Excellency President  Ali Abdullah Saleh,  President of the Republic to improve the standard of living for our  citizens and expand the network of social welfare in the fight against poverty and unemployment among young people .. The handing over ceremony function was Attended by  Dr. / Awad Salem Bawazir and  Mr. / Ahmed Hassan Ba-huwaireth both  (Members of Parliament), Sheikh Ali Salem Bekeir (a member of the Shura Council, Mr.  Adel Al Baker (representative of the Qatari Red Crescent), Dr / Abdul Majeed Farhan (Secretary General - Al-islaah Society Head office ), Directors of Tarim and Saah Districts  and Sah Traim and a number of official and community-based  member's as well as disaster-affected people.  ..
