http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Free medical surgical camp of Al-sheher concludes its Activities with 275 Operations [The Source: MUKALLA/hadharamaut.info - 03/02/2011] The first free Medical and surgical  camp to be held in Al-sheher city came to an end today.  It was organized by Al-Salem Foundation for Social Development , Al-khairaat  Foundation for Development, Al-omgi  Social Charitable Foundation in collaboration with the  Ministry of Public Health and Population  Office in Al-sheher  District.. In his turn Ahmed Omar Maddi, Provincial- Local Council Member, chairman - Al-khairaat Foundation for Development, (camp director) said that the camp did (275 operations ), of which (29 are for children ), (46 the lip restoration  )  (10 of Endoscopy procedures )  (70 surgery) and (135) cases were given medical advices  and (75) were  treated. The closing ceremony  was attended  Al-sheher District Director-General Hussein Mohamed Ba-dahieh al-amoudi. The district General  expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by doctors and specialists and those institutions that  helped and supported this  charity initiative that contributed for its success . He called for more of such camps to held in the future, whereby such kind of camps serve the people and alleviate their suffering. He pointed out that the camp  was hosted  by a team of consultants headed by Dr. Ahmed Omar Maasher  of Sheikh Khalifa Medical City - United Arab Emirates and they were specialized in medical and surgical files such as  field opthalmology  Endoscopic Surgery and  headed by Dr. Ahmed Omar Maasher  of Sheikh Khalifa Medical City - United Arab Emirates During the closing function,  the medical team from the city of Sheikh Khalifa, doctors and charitable institutions, Organizers of the camp and a number of entities  that have contributed to the success of the activities of the camp were hounoured . The function  was attended by Al-sheher Local Council  Secretary-General Mohsin Yislam Al-khesheim, members of the local council  Governing body,  General Directorate  - Office of Health and Population, the Dr. Lutfi Ba-suwad and Al-Salem Social Development  chairman Mohammed Abdel-Rahman Ba-jurush president,  Al-omgi social charity  chairman Said Saleh Al-omgi and Ammar Amari.
