Yemen and the United Kingdom
discussed here on Wednesday the final arrangements to hold the meeting of
Yemen's Friends Group in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, next March.
The arrangements were reviewed by
the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul-Karim al-Arhabi
and British Ambassador to Yemen Jonathan Wilks, who also discussed the topics
on the Riyadh meeting agenda.At the meeting, al-Arhabi and Wilks
discussed a number of issues related to enhancing the joint cooperation serve
the common interests.Al-Arhabi praised the British
government's assistance to strengthen capacities of stabilizing Yemen, hailing
the British initiative for raising the UK development aid to Yemen. For his part, the British ambassador
renewed his country's keenness to present all aspects of assistance to Yemen.
