Secretary General of Mahweet Local Council Ali al-Zaikam met here on Tuesday with a delegation of European Union (EU) to assess the experience of councils of health development support.

The meeting discussed the tasks the team is to implement to evaluate the councils of health development support in the governorates as one of the mechanisms to finance EU-funded programs to support updating the health and populations sector.The meeting also discussed the activities and programs implemented in the governorate by the councils that aim to transfer work from centralization to decentralization.The EU delegation's head clarified that the visit aims to evaluate the EU aid for the development health projects and ensuring how benefit are the councils to be shifted to another countries.
