The Ministry of transport in a press release received today, a copy of it to Yemen News Agency (SABA) said that  Yemenia will resume flights to Socotra by  running two flights a week, while  Al-ssaida airline will lower down its fares  to Socotra, through its offices in the archipelago.The Ministry stressed that these efforts are to implement the directives ofHis Excellency  President Ali Abdullah Saleh, President of the Republic. The directives were directed  during his recent visit to  Socotra archipelago in late last December. Where His Excellency  directed  space should be given to  internal and external  direct flights to Socotra. The open space is for Yemenia,  Al-ssaida  airlines and Air aviation forces, that willmake it easiereasier for citizens to travel easily to and from Socotra.
