http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Hadhramout local body holds its first meeting for 2011 [The Source: MUKALLA/hadharamaut.info - 09/01/2011] Hadhramout Province  Local Council  Governing body held  its first meeting for 2011  today in Mukalla City  It was chaired by the President of the Provincial Governor Ahmed Salem Al-Khanbashi and it stood  in front of the two  plans  of its activities and the local council for this year. The meeting  was attended  by Local Council  Secretary-General Khalid Saeed Al-deini, discussed Local Council fourth session activities,  to be  held in the city of Mukalla in the middle of this month. It also reviewed a number of other issues relating to general activity  in the province and reports of Branch - Central Organization for Control and Accounting on the performance and activities  of a number of offices and Government institutions in the province. And  listening  to explanations and the responses of officials of the concerned  competent authorities .At the meeting,  the Governor of Hadramout Salim Ahmed Al-khanshi urged on the importance of promoting and developing local authority units  performance,  administrative, improve its activity, in accordang to the level of provision of its service and development. He stressied on  the need to have the performance and activity of various organsm, institutions and administrative units in the new year 2011 to be of a distinct andit should reflect   positively on the level of implementation of plans and investment programs, thus contributing to the development of and improve the service and social services for citizens..
