Abu Osba said that 120 persons have been suspended from work due to corruption cases. She reviewed a number steps and achievements made by the Authority to combat corruption and address many issues.She pointed out that the prosecution has recently ordered the arrest of a number of defendants in financial misappropriation cases, which reached YR150 million, from the Supreme Board for Drugs.At the opening of a seminar on the vision of civil society to the national strategy to combat corruption, Abu Osba stressed the partnership between the Authority and the civil society organizations (CSOs).She praised the outcomes of joint programs carried out by the Authority in cooperation with the CSOs through implementing several activities in various provinces to contribute to creation of an anti-corruption culture.National strategy to combat corruption has been completed in cooperation with various official bodies and CSOs and international organizations, Abu Osba pointed out.
