http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Hadhramout Governor inaugurates a number of shibam educational projects [The Source: SHIBAM/hadhrmaut.info - 23/12/2010] Hadhramout Governor Salem Ahmed Al-Khanbashi Hadhramaut Local Chairman yesterday  inagurated a number of educational projects within  Shibam District  at an estimated  cost (576 dollars). These projects were  funded by the Social Fund for Development and from Philanthropist Sheikh Mohammed Ramadan Kurban. .He  opened a kindergarten school in Shibam District,  costing (330 thousand dollars), with Funds coming from Social Fund for Development. The scool consist  (7) section with it facilities and accessories and can accommodate 350 boys and girls. The work began during the end of 2008 and  was completed as well  asschooling started this year. Khumur  school was also opened in the District with three section and and can accomodate 120 students. The school was constructed  at a total cost of  (186 thousand dollars). Governor Salem Ahmed Al-Khanbashi  was accompanied in  this this visit  by Omaier Mbarak Omaier Hadramout Undersecretary for Wadi and Sahraa Affairs, ' Fahad Salah Alaagam Assistant Undersecretary and Hussain Omar Ba-silim, head Yemen space Channel  and Dr. Mohammad Omar Fal-houm Director General -  Wadi Office of Education , Jumaan Saalmin  Ba-rabaa Director -Office of the Ministry of Oil and Minerals, Esaam Habrish Alkithiri  Habric Al-kithiri Director General - Shibam Diistrict, District Director of of Education and a number of directors -offices  from the the district and a citizens of the area..
