http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Hadhramaut Society for combating AIDS celebrates World Aids Day [The Source: MUKALLA/hadhrramaut.info - 03/12/2010] Hadhramout Society for combating AIDS in coordination with the United Nations Fund for Population organized to fight AIDS, on Thursday organized activities to celebrate world AIDS day in Mukalla. The program for the observance of World AIDS Day was held under the slogan (World Federation to confront AIDS - for generations free of injuries, stigma and child mortality). During the opening of the program Dr. Ahmed Bahaaj delivered a a Lecture which was attended by Assistant Undersecretary of Hadhramout governorate Mohamed Said Ba-gutmi .. Prof. Dr. Ahmad gave a lecture to Students from Mukalla Health Institute. In his speech included several topics, starting with modes of disease transmission, rights of AIDS patients, voluntary testing, and counseling as a strategy for prevention and psychological and social support to AIDS patients. In her turn,  Dr. Ahlam bin Breik  President of the Society t  in a statement to  (14 October)  Newspaper, she  said that Hadhramaut  Society to Combat AIDS, today celebrates the annual World AIDS Day.  She indicated   that under this  LOGO the  Society was able to arrange and organize for this celebration  on this  particular day with full support from  the united Nation Fund for for population to have a free society  from HIV, stigma and  free of child mortality. .During the end of the ceremony students from Mukalla Health Institute were honored for their participation in First Aid centers during the Examinations.. The celebration activities was attended by  program Dr. Ahmed Dakik, Dr. Mohamed Awadh Lardhi deputy director of Mukalla Health  Institute, Society  members Assembly, and Ms. Wafaa Ba-rbed  chairlady responsible for voluntary testing and counseling center
