The meeting also dealt with achievements in the last period under the education quality improvement project financed with $ 13 million. It stressed the importance of activating the role of Yemen academic accreditation and quality assurance council in evaluating the performance and programmes of national universities with the aim to improve the quality of education and educational output through improving their curricula.BaSurrah appreciated the Bank's support for Yemeni universities, saying the Bank is financing 12 education quality improvement programmes at eight public universities.It is very significant to learn from the Bank's expertise in the field of academic accreditation to improve college education in the country, he said.For his part, Abraham said the Bank will continue to support higher education in Yemen and help universities to develop their programmes that can contribute to better educational output.
