At his meeting with Russian envoy to Yemen Sergei Kozlov, he affirmed the deep-rooted relations and bilateral cooperation between them, as he praised Russian assistance to Yemen in various fields. There is also a need to build the Yemeni-Russian relations to cover all areas including parliament cooperation, activating joint friendship committees and following up the implementation of mutual agreements and protocols, he said. Yemen will help the recently-appointed Russian envoy to accomplish his duties well, he said.For his part, Kozlov praised the level of cooperation between Yemen and his country, reiterating full support for Yemen's unity, stability, security and development.The next period will see Yemen-Russia ties being expanded and further developed, he said.
