http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Vice President inspects oil companies, facilities in Syoon [The Source: www.sabanews.net - 13/8/2008] Vice President Abdu Rabu Mansour Hadi arrived Tuesday here in a visit for inspecting ongoing work in a number of oil and gas companies and facilities , as well as for meeting with officials in Hadramout. Hadi, along with Interior Minister Muttahr al-Mesri, met with leaderships of Hadramout governorate and discussed with them a number of issues concerning the ongoing work in public facilities. The meeting dealt with means of enhancing security performance and measures have been followed in for ending the criminal and terrorist gang which was based in Tarim city. The gang was practicing its crimes in Sana'a, Mareb and other places. Then the Vice President and al-Mesri headed to Tarim city for inspecting the place where had been used by the terrorist gang for planning to its subtle crimes against society.They watched kinds of remain arms, gas cylinders used in exploding and different types of grenades. Then, Hadi paid inspection visit to one of Total Company's premises in Block 10 where he watched the new pipelines and met with the company's officials and engineers who briefed him on the continuous improving process. He expressed happiness for inspecting the company's activities,affirming that bilateral relations with Total are promising for it is one of the greatest investors in oil and gas field. Then the Vice President launched Samah Hotel in Sayoon city. The hotel is one of private sector's investment projects in the governorate and contains 45 suites and rooms with luxury services.
