http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Our forefathers Heritage in Seiyoun Eid Festivals [The Source: SEIYOUN/hadhramaut.info - 19/11/2010] On the occasion of celebrating  Eid Al Adha Festivals, the celebrations Committee for Hai Al-wehdah in Seiyoun District organized a number of events for this Eid.  First of the eid and during the afternoon at Khalifah Umar ibn al-Khattab square in Seiyoun..   there were  several traditional folk shows and dances  done by   the  friends folklore and drama group from Zone. The plays discussed family-related issues of which ways to maintain and adhere to the customs, traditions of our forefathers and  comparison between past and present.The festivals  was attended by  Seiyoun Local Council member and  head  of festivals committe in the area Mr. Ahmed Karama Ma'ashug. He  congratulated the  political leadership represented by His Excellency Brother / Ali Abdullah Saleh President of the Republic and all members of the Yemeni people on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, pointing out that the celebrations which coincide with our country organizing  the showpiece event Gulf (20), the  43rd  Independence Anniverssary of 3oth November, our National Day.The  celebration festivals will include  games, Idd competitions, Shabwani popular traditional Seiyoun dance,plays  for children games  and scenes of theatrical awareness, heritage and comedy shows.
