Gilles de Kerchove. During the meeting, they discussed efforts of Yemen in combating terrorism and the support of the EU for Yemen's stability and unity, in addition to all aspects of support by the EU in different areas in order to promote abilities of the Yemeni government in combating terrorism.The minister praised the EU support for Yemen at the developmental level and reinforcing capacities of the Yemeni security systems which enable them to perform their role in counterterrorism and organized crimes.For his part, the EU counterterrorism official hailed Yemen efforts in counterterrorism and the procedures taken in the field of airports and air fright security.
