At the conversation, President Saleh expressed thanks for the Saudi support to Yemen in all circumstances, noting to the existing cooperation between the two brotherly countries at various levels. For his part, King Abdullah praised the close brotherly relations between Yemen and Saudi Arabia and their peoples, reiterating the Saudi position to support Yemen’s security, stability and development process.The Saudi King also stressed that Yemen's security is the kingdom's security and vice versa, calling friendly countries to support Yemen and provide assistance to it to overcome the challenges of development and strengthen its efforts in the fight against terrorism.In addition, King Abdullah pointed out that the scourge of terrorism is prejudicial to the security and safety of the region and the world.
