http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Sana’a Forum meeting to be held in Yemen [The Source: SANA'A/hadhramaut.info/sabanews.net - 29/10/2010] Diplomatic sources have said that preparations began for holding the upcoming summit of leaders of member states of the Sana’a Forum in the capital Sana'a. The sources expected that the summit is being held in late December or January 2011 under coordination and communication that will take place with the leaders of the regional forum.The Sana’a Forum, established in October 2002, includes Yemen, Sudan, Ethiopia and Somalia. The Forum aims at building strong relations between Yemen and the African coastal countries in south of the Red Sea and the Horn of Africa.The sources added that the meeting of the leaders of the member states of the Forum would be preceded by meetings of technical commissions and foreign ministers for reviewing performance reports of the forum and mechanisms of activating agreements signed among the member states in various economic, political and security areas. The sources stressed that the summit’s agenda will include the latest developments in Somalia and the Horn of Africa and the fight against piracy and terrorism and ways of securing the navigation in the Red Sea
