http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Workshop on Dutch programme for business partnership with private sector [The Source: SANA'A/hadhramaut.info/sabanews.net - 26/10/2010] A workshop was held on Monday at the General Investment Authority on the Dutch-sponsored programme of the private sector support for investment projects SI. The workshop was organized by the authority in cooperation with the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and embassy in Sana'a. Director of the promotion sector at the authority Muntaha Ali Muthana underlined the importance of the programme in supporting new investment thoughts in promising sectors receiving the support of the Netherlands' government. She appreciated the Dutch support to development factors and achieving sustainable development in Yemen and contribution to the development of the private sector and restricting the level of poverty. The programme is being implemented by Yemeni company and foreign companies with strong financial disclosures and well-established presence in market.For his part, representative of the Dutch Ministry Sam reviewed the objectives of the programme and mechanisms for creating partnerships between Yemeni businessmen and Dutch companies as well as the conditions for having a Dutch partner.It is worth to mention that the programme aims to establish Yemeni-Dutch investment projects, promote Yemeni investment opportunities in the Netherlands and other .countries and encourage foreign companies to invest in the country.
