http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Al-fahad fishing boat found off coast of Aal-amra and all on borar in good health [The Source: MUKALLA/hadhrramaut.info - 18/10/2010]  Fishing boat nicknamed( Al-fahad), which sailed from the island of Socotra on  October 10  heading to Mukalla and  on board  were seven sailors and fifteen students   that reported missing  was found yesterday. In a telephone conversation with Mr. Abdullah Houd  Al-chmeili owner of the boat, he said  that he had received a telephone call from the crew of the boa tAl-Fahd telling him that they had run out  diesel and were by taken away by the ocean currents to as far as 36 nautical miles from the Hasuein area in Gishn  District of  al-Mahra Ading that that all the crew of the boat and the  students traveling with  them  are in good health and today  Tuesday, October 19 a boat was sent  to provide them with diesel, water and food. According to the Security Information Center of Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry has used helicopters from the Ministry of Defence to search for the boat in addition toCoast Guard craft ,  Naval Base and a set of boats  belongs to other fishemmen from  Mukalla city  and the Socotra archipelago to help in the search for the missing boat.. It is worth mentioning that the missing of  boat raised the problem of high prices of airline tickets to Socotra Island as the extent  that they are fare was many time  higher than the usual  price  and reache near to some  some international flights.
