http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Minister of Water confirms the continuation of training program for Socotralocal staff [The Source: SOCOTRA/hadhramaut.info - 10/10/2010] The Minister of Water and Environment Engineer Abdul Rahman Al-Iryani confirmed to continue  with the training and the rehabilitation programe forSocotra archipelago  local staff  until it bears its  fruit. The training  will produce local expertise in the future  and  efficiencies in runing of the archipelago District.. He pointed out the importance of working to create a special department for Socotra that works   to preserve the unique biodiversity, according to the standards of the Declaration of Socotra in the list of World Natural Heritage by UNESCO in 2008.
