http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Hadhramaut Civil Defense Council discusses new disaster location within -Mukalla [The Source: MUKALLA/hadhrramaut.info - 05/10/2010] Hadhramaut Civil Defense Council in its meeting held today in Mukalla discussed locating  new shelters incase of  natural disasters events. The Meeting was chaired  by the Undersecretary of Hadramout province for coastal Affairs Abdullah Awad Hatem. Such new location will assist  the country and the province  to avoid the risks and the heavy losses caused by disaster,  The damage done by to the county and the city of Mukalla  by the disaster rains and floods that swept the province of Hadramaut at the end of October 2008  caneasily be avoided  by creating  these new  locations. The meetimg instructed the Director General of Mukalla  District and the Director of Civil Defense to determine appropriate places and shoul be far away from the danger zones. These areas  to be identified and submitted to the  Council for approval. .The meeting  also endorsed the formation of Council's Secretariat , its functions is to condyuct  the running of the Council during the coming period. It is made of three members and  headed by  Provincial Director General ,Office of the Ministry of Transport and Managers of Information and  Civil Defense as comittee member.
