The meeting was co-chaired by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul-Karim al-Arhabi and German ambassador to Yemen Michael Klor-Berchtold and the head of the Middle East and North Africa Department in the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
The two sides have signed three agreements of mutual cooperation between Yemen and Germany. They have signed an executive agreement of the German additional support for food security program at a cost of Euro 2.5 million.
The second agreement supports reform program with Euro 3.7 million, while the last one is a financing agreement of expanding sanitation project at Ibb city at a cost of Euro 2.8 million.The officials also have signed the formal consultation minute that included the joint conformation to continue enhancing the Yemeni-German bilateral cooperation besides identifying their future cooperation priorities and trends.Al-Arhabi hailed the keenness shown by the German government in propping up the development in Yemen through financing infrastructure and service projects.
