The session, which comes within preparation for the exceptional Arab summit that will take place in October in Libya, begins on Thursday, Hassan said as he pointed out that the Palestinian cause and the latest developments in Palestine will be of great importance during discussions.Meetings will be held to discuss the situation in Sudan, with a focus on preparation for the referendum on self-determination in southern Sudan and resolving divisions between the Sudanese peace partners as well as the situation in Somalia amid stepped up attacks by the al Shabab al Mujahideen on the transitional government and African peacekeepers, he said. Also, the file of reforming the Arab League and preparations for the next Arab economic summit which will be held in Sherem el Sheikh in Egypt will be addressed, he concluded.
