http://www.english.hadhramaut.info VP inspects sport, service, health projects for 20th Gulf Cup [The Source: ADEN/hadhramaut.infor/sabanews.net - 11/09/2010] Vice President Abdu Rabo Mansour Hadi inspected on Saturday a number of sports, services and health projects in Aden city within preparations for the 20th Gulf Cup in next November and December. Hadi started his inspection tour with a visit to Al-Telal Football Club stadium in Hoqat area in Crater district.Then, he visited Aden Hotel, in which work is going on intensively for completing additions and repairs, and he was briefed by Tourism Minister Mabil al-Faqih on the size of achievement and the delivery date.After that, Hadi paid a visit to the May 22nd Stadium and got acquainted with the achieved works for rehabilitation of the stadium fully with the latest technologies and technical and sports specifications, where the stadium became at the final finishing by about 95 percent. Hadi commended the high-level of work applied in such projects in accordance with the latest specifications and international standards, thanking efforts of Public Works and Roads Ministry in this regard. It is worth mentioning that the May 22nd Stadium in Aden will be fully ready during the coming few days. Furthermore, Hadi visited al-Qasr Hotel project in al-Huswa area, which is being outfitted and finished.The hotel includes 250 rooms and suites of modern specifications at an investment cost of about USD100 million. Hadi visited the stadium of al-Shola Football Club in al-Boriqa district, and the stadium of Shamsan Football Club in Muala district, which are ready for trainings of the 20th Gulf Cup. Also in al-Boriqa, Hadi inspected the progress in the Aden Refinery's new hospital. Concluding his tour, Hadi opened the Aden Governor's house building project with its attachments and facilities, which was outfitted within Aden province projects.
