Yemen and China have discussed aspects of Chinese support provided for developing health sector services in Mahweet governorate and means of enhancing them.

At their meeting, Secretary-General of Mahweet Local Council Ali al-Zaikam and the Chinese Health Ministry delegation head talked about role of the Chinese medical mission working at Al-Jumhori Hospital in the province.

The provision of medical equipment for improving services of a number of rural hospitals, including Al-Jumhori Hospital, was also discussed.
