http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Hadhramaut chamber delegation visits Malaysia,memo signed [The Source: www.Hadhramaut.info - 8/7/2008] In the framework of his visit to the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur,  the trade and investment delegation of Hadhramaut chamber of commerce and industry and the local authority signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation with the resources coordination foundation of the Malaysian Islamic chamber .
This signing aims at developing areas of cooperation ,exchanging of experiences and businesses and activating common interests between the two sides.At the same time providing support in rehabilitation and benefiting from the Malaysian experience in the development of scientific development strategy for the advancement of commercial and industrial sectors in Hadhramout.
It was at the signing ceremony which was held at the trade and industry building  in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur that a number of discussions and consultations took place  between  businessmen  from both sides in the areas of fish, industrial, commercial and tourism which covered the possibility of activating  exchanges in the areas mentioned and how to upgrade the communication of what would redress a qualitative leap in the relations of Malaysians with their counterparts Yemeni traders where the available  investment opportunities in Malaysia and Hadramaut province were introduced.In the meantime Mr\ Khalid Saadi, branch manager of General Authority for Investment in Hadhramaut, highlighted the advantages offered by the investment law for foreign investors and the desire of the state in attracting Malaysian investors in many fields, stressing that the General Authority for Investment is fully prepared to provide all means of assistance and facilities to the Malaysians who wish to invest in Hadramout, Yemen in general.
Mr\ Sheikh Saeed Saleh Alaumqi ,Chairman of the fish Committee of Hadhramaut chamber,talked about  the great role played by the fisheries sector in Hadramaut through its exports to a large number of world countries and examine the possibility of strengthening cooperation and partnership between the fisheries sector in Hadhramaut province and Malaysia to develop mechanisms and scientific programmes which will  make this Sector a vital distinct sector based on the foundations and strategies of modern and sophisticated investors  expressing the investor's desire to introduce their products in the Malaysian market. During the visit,   two sides exchanged gifts where the Hadhramaut delegation was awarded the Shield of Malaysia Chamber of Commerce.
 The Hadhramout delegation also visited the Malaysian government city in an area known as Petrojaya.During the visit of the city,The Hadhramout delegation was introduced to the city which includes various ministries and government departments, with the longest lake in east Asia and the flower garden includes three hundred type of flowers and a wonderful tourist landmark.
