http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Fist cardiac battery transplanted in hadhramaut [The Source: Hadhramaut.info - 7/7/2008] Cardiac catheterization unit in the hospital of Hadramout University of Science and Technology witnessed the transplanting  of the first battery of heart  for a 70-year-old patient  named Abdullah Mohammed Bahashwan.  Dr / Mohammed Baghdadi - director of the cardiac catheterization unit said : " after the patient's heart electricity stopped working , we transplanted  a permanent heart battery by the assistance of  the ssistant medical cadre which is working in this center and  under the supervision of Dr. Abdullah bin Mazro'  -  heart and cardiovascular diseases specialist. Dr/ al-Baghdadi further added: "The University of Hadramout for Science and Technology was keen to open this unit for its high importance in providing  medical checks and health services for patients in  Hadramaut and neighboring provinces, to ease the suffering of travelling abroad. It is noteworthy that the University Hospital had already marked a rare operations which were rendered successful.
