In Mukalla, many of the preachers of mosques and imams in mosques  touched upon  the subject of family planning and the view of  religion about it .Sheikh Nadhim Bahabarah,  director of the Center for Studies and Research in Omar mosque , authorizes the use of family planning methods and denied that our  religion had rejected that.He pointed  out that prevention was in birth control . He said :If any  muslim have  special circumstances of illness or poverty, then it is ok for him  to use any  means of family planning and called for the need for agreement between husband and wife to use the time as they deem appropriate.
For his part,  Sheikh Mohammed Saeed alrubakil - Alrawdhah mosque preacher ,  described the issue of populationas a  case of Insomniac, pointing out that birth control is the best way to resolve the issue of population explosion witnessed by our country in difficult economic circumstances, indicating that  the famous  Hadeeth (Saying) of the  the Prophet peace be upon him that says : "I will be  proud of you outnumber the other nations "  has no contradiction  with family planning  that makes our society free from any health maladies.

Sheikh Hassan Abdul Kader Al-Jafari , imam of  Bazaraa mosque, also  confirmed that the family is the mainstay  to build a strong and healthy muslim society, pointing out that family planning is permissible  after an agreement between ahusband and his wife .
It is worth noting that the city of Mukalla and Qaten have experienced, in  June, the  inauguration of the ongoing campaign to increase awareness of family planning during the period from the second until the eighth from the same month.
