An official medical report has revealed the
increase of Dengue Fever inflicted cases in Hadramout province, pointing out
that 12 cases died and 1442 others were discovered.
Several
Yemeni provinces, including Taiz, Aden
, Abyan , Lahj and Shabwa, are suffering from spread of this epidemic. The governor of Shabwa Ali al-Ahmdi has demanded the government to swiftly
order the Ministry of Public Health taking urgent measures to end the spread of
Dengue fever across the province. ‘’The rain and leakage of sewage are the main reasons for the spread of
mosquitoes that transmit the disease’’, according to a heath official.
