Hadramout Governor Salem Ahmed Al-khanbashi confirmed that the Local authority will not hesitate in holding accountable those who caused fire at the Al-rayyan power station 

The fire has caused the power station to seize functioning completely. also added that Investigations into the cause of fire are underway to determine the causes and take necessary actions regarding thid serious matter .He was speecking  last night when he launched the VI Mukalla, Awareness Summer Sea Camp activities in Mukalla .The events will last for six days, indicating that the technical teams is working around the clock in order to expedite and accelerate the repair of the generators that were burned down and till now two generators have already been repaired and will enter the service in the coming hours. The number of generatots already repaired till now are four on addition to the access of 25 mega power purchased from a Hadhramout Investment company in order to generate electricity during these day till the end of the week..
