http://www.english.hadhramaut.info Yemen, WB discuss progress in vocational training project II [The Source: SANA'A/ hadhramaut.info/sabanews.net - 10/07/2010] Yemen and the World Bank (WB) discussed here on Saturday the progress in the implementation of the second vocational training project ,financed by the Bank with USD 15 million. This came during the meeting gathered Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training Ibrahim Hajri and the WB's mission, currently visiting Yemen, headed by Education Sector Manager at the WB, North Africa and Middle East Murad al-Zain. The two sides reviewed the current situation of the project and problems and difficulties facing the project and the best mechanisms to to benefit completely from the WB's loan for implementing the project's components.Hajri affirmed the importance of this project to develop the technical education and vocational training system in Yemen through promoting the capacities of the institutions of this sector.He noted the WB's support to this vital project in human-building through the training and rehabilitation in the various vocational and technical areas which cope with the modern changes.For his part, the WB's official pointed out the need to avail from the loan to run the project in accordance with the time plan to implement the project.
