The Working Group on the rule of law and security within Group of Yemen Friends is to convene its meeting in the Jordanian capital, Amman, on July 22.

Well-informed sources pointed out that the meeting, attended by Member States and organizations in the group, would discuss judicial reform programs in Yemen and the government's efforts in this area and its future plan with the national agenda for reforms.Jordan heads the Working Group on justice and the rule of law within the Yemen Friends Group and Netherlands deputizes for it in the presidency.In this connection, Minister of Justice Ghazi al-Aghbari received on Wednesday a draft of recommendations and a report issued by the Group of Yemen Friends on judicial reforms and security and the rule of law in Yemen.Al-Aghbari affirmed the Yemeni government's keenness to deal seriously with the recommendations as long as they fall under the national agenda for reforms to enhance Yemen's capacity in facing the challenges, including recommendations for judicial reforms and police.
