The civil defence corps put out on Sunday a massive fire which overwhelmed electricity generators at the Rayan Electricity Plant in Hadramout governorate causing it to halt.

Secretary General of the Local Council in Hadramout Khalid al-Dainy told Saba that investigation is underway to know reasons of the fire incident.He noted that the fire caused a complete blackout in Mukalla city as well as neighboring areas.Al-Dainy expressed thanks to President Ali Abdullah Saleh, on behalf of the governorate citizens, for his orders to quickly provide electricity generators for Mukalla city.
