http://www.english.hadhramaut.info France to keep on supporting Yemen in counter-terrorism [The Source: SANA'A/ hadhramaut.info/sabanews.net - 01/07/2010] France will carry on its support to Yemen in various areas, particularly in training counter-terrorism security units, ambassador of France Joseph Silva said on Thursday. Silva told the weekly 26 September the coordination between French marine forces and Yemeni marines, coastal defense and coastguard forces is incessantly and at high levels, saying that works would go on for holding more training courses to combat piracy in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.French government has provided the required equipment for establishing a coastguard training center in Aden, Silva said, adding that joint exercises have been done to enable the Yemeni marine forces to avail from the experience of the French forces located in Djibouti in countering piracy.He said that four teachers have been sent to the Military Language Institute to teach French, saying that after the soldiers ended their French studies, they are sent to French institutes to be qualified in technical and scientific areas
