At a meeting gathered Minister of Defense Mohammad Naser Ahmad and Italian ambassador to Sana'a Alessandro Fallavollita reviewed means of promoting the coastguards' ability in combating piracy and terrorism. The two sides also dealt with ways of developing the joint relations between the Yemeni-Italian armies.On the other hand, the Minister met with Japanese ambassador to Yemen Mitsunori Namba.The two sides talked about mutual cooperation fields between the two friendly countries, particularly in enhancing cooperation between the Yemeni and Japanese marine forces.The Japanese diplomat expressed his country's willingness to support Yemen in combating terrorism and piracy in Red Sea and Aden Gulf.
